Publishing Process
1. Submission: Manuscript Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through the online submission system following the instructions provided by the OJS system. Please note that submitted manuscripts must comply with the available author guidelines.
When starting the submission, be sure to select the [Section] that matches the manuscript: Empirical Research Article or Systematic Review Article.
When filling out the form, authors are required to enter metadata accurately, including listing all author names and their affiliations, and writing the article title in regular (non-capitalized) letters.
After submission, the author will receive an automatic reply stating that the manuscript has been received and will be processed shortly.
The manuscript will then undergo a check by the editor to verify whether it is complete, complies with the formatting and author guidelines, matches the journal's focus and scope, is suitable for peer review, and is thematically relevant for publication.
2. Review: Peer Review
When the content of the manuscript matches the journal's focus and the structure of the manuscript follows the writing format, the manuscript will be sent to reviewers for evaluation (peer review). This process is carried out with constructive and thorough aims, and therefore may take up to 4 weeks per manuscript.
After the review process, the editor will make and communicate a decision regarding publication. If the manuscript reviewed by the reviewer is requested for revision, it will be sent back to the author for correction. If substantial revision is needed, please resubmit the revised manuscript for the next round of peer review. If the editor decides to reject the manuscript, the rejected manuscript may not be resubmitted to this journal.
If the manuscript is accepted, an LoA email will be sent to the author.
3. Copyediting: Payment and Final Editing
Once the manuscript is decided to be accepted, the author will be asked to make payment of the publication fee to the account provided via email. Once payment is confirmed, the process will proceed to the publication production stage.
At this stage, the author is responsible for ensuring that the last uploaded manuscript is the final version of the completed and revised article.
4. Production: Publication
After the final stage of layout editing, the manuscript will be completed with full metadata (including page numbers) and a DOI number, and will be published online according to the nearest publication schedule.
