Filsafat ilmu pendidikan terhadap konsep “Merdeka Belajar” humanisme dan progresivisme

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini iyalah demi mengetahui keterkaitan kurikulum merdeka belajar dengan pemikiran filsafat humanisme dan progresivisme, dan apa dampaknya dalam Pendidikan di Indonesia, sehingga mengetahu seberapa efektifnya dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui library research dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendidikan adalah aspek yang istimewa bagi kehidupan manusia. Dengan adanya Pendidikan manusia mampu mengembangkan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Peran pemerintah sebagai yang membantu dalam memfasilitasi pendidikan dan memberi layanan Pendidikan yang layak bagi para murid. Salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan menjalankan konsep Pendidikan merdeka belajar, dan ternyata terdapat persamaan dengan pemikiran filsafat humanisme dan progresivisme. Teori humanisme berpendapat bahwa Pendidikan yang paling ideal adalah memanusiakan manusia dan sebuah konsep Pendidikan dalam membentuk manusia yang di cita–citakan. Sedangkan progresivisme adalah berpikir dengan kecerdasan merupakan hal yang utama dalam Pendidikan, dan peserta didik diberikan sebuah kebebasan. Konsep merdeka belajar memberi kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk belajar secara bebas, nyaman, tenang, gembira, dan juga memanusiakan manusia. Peran guru dalam hal ini sebagai fasilitator, harus bisa memfasilitasi kebutuhan peserta didik yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda-beda tanpa membandingkan satu dengan lainnya.
